Pours flaming flemish red with a nice head that leaves some nice belgian lace. Aroma is fruity, woody with hints of vinegar. Taste plays on the sweet and sour theme with a balsamic-like character. A real nice flanders red that everyone should enjoy at least once... and then many times after that. I know I did!

Beautiful red brown colour with beige head. Smells sweet and sour, but also a bit like sweaty socks (geuze). Sweet and fruity yet sour and refreshing. Vivid, light body. Spicy/wild geuze finish. A great beer.

Bière étonnante et très originale. Au premier abord difficile elle deploye des la seconde gorgée son arôme type cidre au pommé. A goûter..

Color: dark red beer with medium brown head and small carbonization. Smell: grapes, red fruits as strawberry and raspberry, wine. Taste: red fruits and wine really interesting beer with expressive good red wine taste. Aftertaste: small sugar and caramel sensation.

Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Slightly hazy dark copper red pour with a large pillowy off-white head. Lots of funny lace. Soft fuzzy sour cherry. Little bit of Flemish funk but mostly a watered down sweet cherry sour. Not bad, but I have just had so many better variations of this style that I can not rate it higher. Still a classic.

A - Dark brown/burgundy color. with an off-white head that leaves solid lacing patterns. S - Musty fruit, balsamic, raspberries, wet grass, cherries, lacto, old wood. T - Candy sweet up front than turns tart with a mineral sweetness, tangy cherries, tart apple skins, over ripe fruit, there’s a rich malt backbone underneath. Finishes acidic. M - Moderate carbonation, soft and smooth feel. More tart than sour. Nicely balanced with a solid malt backbone. This is a good beer to have around for a celebration. Serving type: bottle 08-05-2011

Really enjoyed it. Drank at rooftop bar in St Louis. Pours a reddish brown (closer to brown). Taste of sour cherries, but not overly tart. Would have again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
