Dark crimson-brown color. Slight sour, very fruity aroma. Wonderfully balanced flavor between sweet and sour. Mild sour flavors with slight candied sweetness. Excellent body. Seemed like a bigger beer. Loved it!

25 cl bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Dark orange with nice off-white head. Aroma is sour fruit. Flavor oak and fruit. A bit sweet and sout at same time. I really like this beer.

If you want to smell & taste lactic sour, balsamico, remover, oak, sugar, wine notes, (and a metallic blood taste when serving too cold), this is your beer. Great balance between the tartness & sweetness. The ultimate beer when I was young. Price/quality unbeatable. The first recommendation when I advise a foreigner in a Belgian liquor store.

awful beer. Didn´t like this at all! Taste is very sweet, taste like it has a lot of fruit-syrup in it. And at the same time sour.

WOW, better than Roddenbach, the aroma will awaken your sense of smell. deep amber color with a decent head. Oaky, tangy, sweet and sour. Needs to breathe for full enjoyment. Try it with a tiny splash of grenadine if it's too sour. Overall this one could be the better flemmish red but Roddenbach has the name and longevity. A must try for beer connoisseurs.

this is my favorite beer... tastes more like fine wine than beer, fruity, tart yet sweet and flavorful. warning - must be chilled properly to avoid nasty nasal "smelling salts" aftertaste but if properly chilled the aftertaste doesn’t show up and it’s just wonderful.

Enjoyed this on tap at the Columbus Underground happy hour at Details; excellent sweet and sour combination not on a Chinese food buffet
