ENG: 330ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the tulip. Very dark red, clear color, nice, thick, light-beige head and plenty of lacing. Aromas of fortified wine / cherry liquor, red berries, a bit of alcohol. Very strong and sweet. Tastes sour but also strongly sweet, a lot of cherries and red berries, vinegar. Delicate aftertaste, a bit salty deep in the throat, medium body, low to medium carbonation. Overall greatly balanced between sour and sweet. I like it most from all sour beers I tried up to date.

PL: Butelka 330ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do kieliszka. Barwa ciemno-czerwona, klarowna, ładna, gęsta, jasno-beżowa piana i dużo lejsingu. Aromaty wzmocnionego wina albo nawet nalewki wiśniowej, czerwona porzeczka, nieco alkoholu. Bardzo mocne i słodkie. W smaku kwaśnawe, ale i bardzo słodkie, bardzo mocno wiśniowe i porzeczkowe, do tego vinegar. W posmaku lekkie, nieco słone - głęboko w gardle, średnie odczucie w ustach, niskie do średniego nasycenie. Podsumowując bardzo fajnie zbalansowane pomiędzy kwaśnością a słodyczą. Najbardziej smakujące mi piwo z tego stylu jakie do tej pory miałem okazję spróbować.

My first flemish sour. Pours a great dark reddish, brown color with no sediment, which surprises me. Aroma is somwhat wine like and fruity. Flavor is very sour and fruity, and very sweet. I can’t say that I love this style or beer, but I can’t say it is a bad beer. If you like the style you’ll probably like this.

Red in the glass. Fruity in the nose. Thin mouthfeel. Sour fruity taste with a dry finish. Kinda boring but not at all bad.

Pours a reddish deep brown, copper when held to the light. Off white head without much retention. Smells strongly of balsamic vinegar, yeast, cherries, and grapes. Has a sharp up front taste, which proceeds to the feeling you have just ate a slice of bread. Not as sour as the aroma leads on, but could be too much for some people.

Pours a dark brown with a fizzy head that disapears very quickly, the head almost looks like a soda pop being poured. Smells of grapes, apricot, raisins, prunes and sherry. Has a tartness, and a sweetness, tastes of deep fried potato, apple and red grapes. Very fruity and complex. Nice lacing.

Dark red pour like cola. Smelled like sour fruits and vinegar. Tasted like vinegar and candy-apple. At first I liked it... although I couldn’t even finish the bottle it got so bad. I would not recommend this--especially considering how expensive it is. This beer practically gave me nightmares.

330ml bottle poured into tulip. Pours a dark brown with some copper highlights with a very fine head which eventually fades to a ring. Aroma is so-so barnyard, cherries and sour apple. Taste is a very well done balance of sweet and sour; it has a good level of sweetness and if you would remove some tartness it could taste close to Lindemans’ faro, in my opinion. So yes, some might find it a bit sweet but I find it’s perfectly OK. Body is light, and texture is thin/slick. Carbonation is soft. Finish is just a tad astringent and medium-short, although the astringency remains a bit longer than the rest on the sides of your tongue. Overall a pretty good brew, if you ask me. Pretty refreshing too! I’m glad we have access to this in Quebec, Canada, as our liquor board (SAQ) has a reputation of maintaining a pretty mixed selection of brews...meaning either really good, or utterly atrocious. Well done.

Bottle 750ml, pours clear brown with small white head, that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma of grapes, white wine, honey, vinegar, raisins and some delicate barnyard. In taste high sourness followed by heavy sweetness. No bitterness at all. IMO sweetness is a to high, but still it?s easy drinkable. Very fruity but when drinking for a longer time it starts being very insipid. Good beer but more than 300ml is to much.
