3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very different from other Fruit derived beer. Sweet fruity aroma with a taste of sour foremost followed by a bit of sweetness. Appearance best described as a tan frothy head on a redish brown cola colored liquid. It was very different yet very enjoyable. Recommend to people who prefer red wine over beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reddish brown pour with big head that leaves lots of lacing. Very nice appearance. Aroma of cola, acetic acid (but not strong), oak, and fruit. Taste is tart, cola, sugar, oak, and red and green fruits (grapes, cherries, etc.). Nicely balanced sour.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: very light white head which quickly disappears; dark amber/reddish, brown - almost cola like.
Smell: very nice balance of sour and sweetish notes; cherry, grape and a little brandy/rum notes, all in all very fresh and inviting .
Taste: the sour, tart notes increased compared to smell, still reminds me of berries with some citrus notes, but still some sweetness to be found with some spice. all this gives the beer a nice fresh, light kick.
Mouthfeel: nice to sip, medium body, good balanced fizzy carbonation with fruity taste which leads to a nice finish. sip leaves medium sour notes to play with long after.
Overall: excellent sour ale with strong fruity feel, fresh and enjoyable to drink.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: deep, burgundy body with rosy tones & a crackly beige head that reduces rather quickly to a wimpy little skin. Aroma has copious amounts of vinegar with lightly sour cherries, mild cranberry, spice, wood, & vanilla. Lots of apple cider vinegar. Flavor is toned down with still lots of vinegar, but not overpowering. Slightly tart cherries, cola, oak, faint vanilla, & some residual sweetness are present, but vinegar oversees the entire thing. Luckily, I’m a fan of vinegar. Wish this beer was more tart & not as sweet, but it’s still a good brew.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle at the Euston Tap, London on 20th November 2013. Deep copper with lasting creamy off-white tight foam. Rich cherry and Christmas pudding aroma. Cherry/citrus in-mouth with soft, pleasant balsamic note. Late but intense hazelnut nuttiness. Exquisite. Medium body and zingy mouthfeel. Amongst my most enjoyable bottles.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Deep ruby, thin lumpy off white head; aroma of red wine vinegar; tastes exactly like port and lemon! Wow! The first alcoholic drink I can remember! What a great surprise - half expected this to be a Rodenbach Grand Cru-like sour disappointment - but no, this was nostalgia in a glass at first; as things went on I found it to be a bit heavy on the lemon; by the end I was getting weird notes of salt ’n’ vinegar crisps; an interesting curio, but not one I’ll be repeating.

Smells strongly of vinegar. I usually enjoy red ales but this was simply not to my preference. Pretty complex, and strong sour taste
