Perhaps I drank it too cold, but there wasn’t much of a nose, other than a faint smell of fermentation, yeast and the like. The hue was lovely, a nice reddish brown. Sourness was moderate, with a bit of red berries before broadening on the finish. Marvelous beer overall, will certainly be buying it again.

Bottle. Pours lovely deep reddish brown. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, apple and red wine. The balsamic taste is there but in a good way. Mildly tart with sweet and sour. A bit of a love/hate beer and I’m going for love it.

Good one. Deep dark with a small head. Vinegar on the nose. Flavor is nicely tart with malts and red fruit coming through. There’s a hint of balsamico.

Almost black dark burgundy colour. Strong fruity-sour aromas. The taste is a unique blend of sour fruity elements, with more than just a hint of blackberries and red currents, and some malty sweetness. Very sophisticated taste, a beer full of secrets that you can discover new elements of by each sip. One of my personal favourites.

One of my favourites from Bierhandlung. Malty vinegar in nose. Nice sourish woody taste. Also some sweet malt notes, black currant and bread.

330ml bottle. Maple Syrup color with almost no head. Strong oak and brown sugar aromas. very thin body, tastes what it smells, little to no hop presence. little sour aftertaste...I don’t know this is really not my type of beer... maybe it’ll be yours. Cheers

Brownish red in colour, small head that fades quickly. Taste....ugh. This was an odd mixture of bitter ale and sherry. Can’t believe there isn’t sherry, port or sweet red wine in this. Very sweet and hard to drink. Cloying on the palate, took over an hour to lump it. Hated it.
