3.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
11.2 oz bottle. Up front sourness followed by a orange, cherry aroma and some vinous qualities. Clear burgundy in color with a small off white head. Aggressive up front sourness, rounded with hint of sour cherries, sherry like, somewhat acidic and a little bitter orange peel. A little astringent for my tastes and the sweetness lingers on the back of the throat. Pretty good job of playing the sweet and sour contrast but seems a little rough around the edges. The aggressive sourness makes it a little one dimensional IMHO.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draft and bottle - pours a deep red, little to no head. Big vinegar aromas with some mild funk. Tastes of mildly sour vinegar , strangely refreshing. One of the most unique beers I’ve had. Awesome !

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml bottle @ Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury. Thought I’d give a classic sour a go and well, I don’t think this agreed with me at all. Pours pitch black with lasting head, has a lambic tartness with cereal aftertaste with quite a lot going on, but try as I might I just couldn’t get into this.

Pours a dark, reddish brown. Nose is mild acetic acid, dark fruits underneath. Taste is unexpectedly delightful, red grapes, figs and other dark fruits. Finish is slightly astringent. Very enjoyable!

Smells strongly of vinegar and tastes strongly of cold vinegar. After taste is more pleasant. Highly recommended.

Bez dwóch zdań fantastyczne piwo. Robi na mnie tak piorunujące wrażenie, że nie ma co opisywać, trzeba wypić!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 750ml: Clear, deep brown with slight red hue. Great thick white heat. Sour, very clean, malty and bright. Lifted. Caramel and old oak. Sour red fruit. Intense. Leesy. Off dry, sour, not bitter. Medium weight long, fine and acid. Elegant. Layers of flavor. Wonderful balance. Citrus and pomegranate.
Sour beers still need to be clean and this does it.

4.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
750ml bottle. Aroma: light malt, molasses, light hops, very vinegary! Appearance: small head, good lacing, clear body, beautiful red color. Taste: heavily sweet, heavily acidic, moderate vinegar. Palate: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, astringent finish. I am in love with this beer. Sours are not typically my thing, but wow. Very good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Oh my.. such a beautiful, deep and complex aroma. Rose wine, redcurrant, rose, wood, lots of pomegranates, some cherries, vinegar, tartness,... Tart and crisp in the mouth, with a red fruity and vinous flavour and a fruity-astringent finish. The body is surprisingly robust given the dry aroma. Also a bit warming due to the alcohol but still very refreshing. Intense yet not overbearing. Brilliant!
