Nel bicchiere si presenta di un rosso scuro ma con bei riflessi rubino. La schiuma, color nocciola, è abbastanza persistente. L’olfatto è tipico di una birra di questo stile: l’acetico subito su tutto. Poi ciliegia, legno. Soprattutto molto "vinosa". Il finale è amaro e ritorna l’acetico.

Rating from memory at Republic Bar in Mpls. Taste is sweet and fruity but is balanced nicely with some good sourness. Berry and cherry notes. Love sour ales and this was a good one.

Murky dark colored, with a thin head. The aroma is very sour. A friend described it as the smell of puke (which i don’t agree on). The taste itself is very sour and takes a little time to get used to. Need another bottle to try before i can make a good judgement

The beer smells tart with cherries. It looks like coke, and that might be why i think it tastes a little like coke as well? The taste contains much more fruit than just cherries though. Red sweet grapes among others. Despite the small amount of beer, it turned a little queasy in the end.

25cl bottle at Alquitara. Rubi colour with a good formation of an off-white head with a good duration. Aroma is fruity, with apple notes, sourish. Flavour has apple notes with mild caraelish notes and candy sugar and wood. The final is fruity and dry. Carbonation and body are medium.

Fruit, especially cherry in the aroma. Flavors starts sweet and finishes sour, with some vanilla and cherry cough medicine flavors. Not my favorite style, but this is pretty good.

Bottle. Dark amber, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, vinous and sweetish aroma, fruitiness - dark fruits, some sourness and light vanilla/oak. Body is medium, vinous and sweetish flavor, fruitiness - dark fruits, some sourness. Finish is average, vinous and lightly sweetish, dark fruits and some vinegar sourness, faint oak. Really nice sour ale although quite sweet. Sourness goes well along the body and sweetness.

deep amber with ruby edges capped by an ample off white head with great retention. Nose is tart and has a essense of horsehair. Taste begins with vinegar, burnt sugar, lemon, and brett. light body, but not watery. Aight.
