Aromas were tart cherry, just a little acidic. Flavor was quite opposite. No acidity at all. Sweet sweet cherry pie filling. Very yummy. Very Tasty. I like this beer. cvillebeer (134), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

It has depth and character and lingers on the palatte wonderfully. illkarate (93), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

Amazing flavor, sour apples, malt and grapes. Finishes very dryly, with oak and soil. kramer (2533), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA

Tart fruity aroma (apples), with some woody notes. Intense sour flavor, lots of fruit, very complex and vinous. Crisp acidic finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Mouth coating stickyness leads to a nice lingering finish. A great refreshing beer, I actually felt cheated by the small bottle. Flemish Sours are definately my favorite of the moment. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jan 27, 2006 bottle, Pours a beautifule dark ruby brown. Head was bubly and frothy with off white appearance. Nice Lacing and the head seemed to last a decent amount of time . Aroma has oak, cherries, Flavor has notes of cherries, apple and pear. Very nice sour mouthfeel not to dry like some sours The carbonation gives it a slight pepper like finish. I have tried on draft before and it has a little more soureness to it. yespr (12443), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Berry, wineous and light sour aroma. Sweet caramel and brown sugar flavour. Light fruity note showing up and a light vanilla note swept around it. Sweet lingering fruit flavour. The sourness is nicely complimenting the fruit and not at any point dominant. Nice balance and smoothness. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Has a very wine-esque taste with some pleasant sourness. Nice tingling mouthfeel. Tastes almost like a lambic. Very nice. after4ever (2863), Brier, Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Draft at Brouwer’s. Pours nearly black with a dense, thick, fluffy tan head. Big sour cherry, oak, and balsamic vinegar. Maybe a little bit of strawberries and moss in there as well. Creamy medium body with active though soft carb. Mid-palate is a wonderful whirl of cherries, oak, and vinegar. Wonderful easy-drinking stuff; almost appropriate for sessioning and definitely appropriate for dessert. A triumph of recipe and execution for sure.
