Definite tart cherry aroma, but accompanied by other dark fruit, light cocoa, and a waning acidity. Starts out nice and sharp, followed by a curious, steak flavor...not really bad, but unexpected. Cherries and berries abound. If was a bit more sour, and a little less acidic, it would be excellent. omhper (12335), Stockholm, Sweden

Sweet start and tart finish. Very smooth and well balanced. Nice display of malt, but very little showing of hops. The finish is a bit too sour, as it tends to stick in the back of my throat, but other that, this is very good stuff.

Wow, what a scent, cherries and raisins soaked in Lambic with oak chips and apple slices thrown in the mix. Some Kriek-like flavors, but not the sticky sweet Krieks. Nothing syrupy about this, crisp, pleasingly tart, lightly fruity, delicious! (Note to self-We must get to Belgium!) MrDick (283), San Francisco, California, USA

First tastes (at a much colder tempurate than the bottle specifies) are of soy and vinegar. Once the ale warmed, fruit tastes overwhelm the vinegar. Finish is still a little sour but well adjusted by the malt. HighGravity (891), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

The nose is bursting with cherry, iron, and spice. The palate is medium in body with a pleasant dryness that is coupled with a Champagne sparkle. The beer is enormously fruity and refreshing. As for the finish, it is lingering and quite tart. I really like this style of beer, refreshing and perilously drinkable. JasonG (701), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Seems like I'm smelling A1 stake sauce or ketchup or something like that. Notes of vinegar, pretty peppery, with a bit of malty sweetness. Flavor is sweet up front, with some sourness coming through towards the finish. Malt, caramel, dark fruits, pepper, oak are all evident. Overall a very interesting, different, and complex brew. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
