Very good Flemish Red Ale - one of the best. Slightly more sour than the Bourgogne de Flanders and Rodenbach, making more traditional, beutiful color

Flasche (75 cl).

Nice Flemmish sour beer. Taste of oak, old hops and sour fruits. I like it, but it’s more toned down than other beers of this style. Perhaps they did it to sell more of it.

First sour I have tried. Transparent, dark ruby-brown, plenty of bubbles. Smells exactly like red wine (leathery tannins, fermented grapes). Taste is slightly sweet, balsamic vinaigrette; sourness builds up as you keep sipping. Crisp, fizzy palate.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours a somewhat cloudy reddish/brown with a decent light tan head. Aroma is sweet/sour fruit and a bit of funk. Taste is caramel malt, sour fruit and the odd funkiness that wild yeast brings to the table. Mustiness of old cloth is there as well, yet this remains a well balanced tasty brew. One of the better sours out there.
