Fruitiness gives way to a palate cleansing bright sourness. Excellent sour

Best beer of PIB ’14, an incredible smooth creamy malt body perfectly balances sour cherry flavor with a hint of alcohol flavor.

Draft - looks like brown sugar with a hint of this dark red wine color. Tart, hints of oak, red grapes, and cherry. With all the oak aging it tastes more like a wine then a beer.

Bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Stavanger. Pours dark reddish brown with a thick cream coloured head. Heavy vinegar aroma with some red fruits. Taste of vinegar, dried fruits, hay, and enamel. Sweet finish. Complex, but not exactly my favourite.

Bottle, pours amber with a thin beige head, aroma is sour cherry, taste is tart cherry and then has a little sweetness followed by a sour finish, well balanced, very nice beer

Red-brownish color. Great ballanced between sourness and sweetness - hints of berries - maybe cherries. Easy drinkable beer, too sweet/sour for me.

Note boisées dues au viellissement en fut. Mais cela n’est pas dans la demesure, et meme si ce style de biere est plus exigeant et ne peu pas plaire a tout le monde (moi compris) je reste agreablement surpris.

Dark brown beer with a small head which quickly disappears. Taste is sour and fruity, good balance. Similar taste as a rodenbach. I am a lover of what sour beers, definitely recommended.

What a beer! One of my favourites up to now. Winey, vinegar, some red fruits. Tastes really sour which I like. Nice brown-red colour. Try if you can!

Drink cold (8°C) Eye: reddish-brown or ruby colour with quickly dissipating head. Nose: acidy, floral and berries such as strawberries. cherries as well. Mouth: a mixture of strawberry vinegar, redcurrant and cherries Palate: sour and complex Overall: somehow refreshing and completely different from conventional beers, but just not my taste. good beer supposedly if you like this kind of beer.
