33 cl. draft @ DHL – thx! A: dark brown cherry with solid mid size pink head. Nose is sweet cherry, light added sweeteners, almost grenadine, whilst still remaining some real fruits feel to it. Taste is touch sweet cherry grenadine, light sweetly metallic, bit of an off-putting note, additives, touch cloying, hint of oak & real fruits. Made with real cherries & not kriek according to the description – wth? Too sweet, some off-putting notes – not a real one for me but every enjoyable for a sweet beer.

Deliciosa kriek maturada em barril, uma invasão de sabores e refrescância com muito sabor e aroma.

Nicely balanced little Belgian fruit beer. Pours ruby red with fuzzy initial head. Aroma of cherry, slightly sour. Very fruity overall and well done for that. Finishes a little sour. Bottle.

Bouteille 330 ml.

Rose colored, clear, white head. Aroma of lightly sour cherries. Flavor of dry grainy malt, light sour cherry, a little wood, some sugary sweetness, clean.

Clear blood red with noisy pink bubbles. Aroma of sour cherry, sour apple/cider vinegar. Taste is similar - sour cherry through and through. Nutty aromas come through more with the taste. Almonds. Sweet opening, tart finish. Tasty, maybe too sweet.

Appearance: Hazy, dark dusty rose with dirty pink head. Aroma: BBQ sauce with cherries - sweet, smokey and fruity! Flavor: Slightly papery dry malt with a strong kirsch followup. Palate: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Overall: Cleaner and less funk than most lambic-style krieks. Great flavors.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours dark red with a big bubbling head. Nice color little like wine. Slight metallic note at the beginning, some marzipan, kind of neutral not too sweet or sour. Cherry taste is abit weaker then i would expect for kriek. Still good and refreshing. Not the best krieks i have tasted tho.

Bottle 75 cl, BBE 03/2016. Pours dark red in color with a pinkish head. Some cherries, notes of wheat and marzipan in aroma. A bit of them cherries in taste as well. A bit on the sweeter side though. Some tartness in finish with a bit of metallic notes too. There’s some sweet cherries/marzipan as well in aftertaste with them slightly burnt grainy notes being there. Not the best, but who’s to complain.
