Flaska från belgianbeerfactory.com. Körsbärsfärgad vätska. Doftar lätt av surkörsbärs och lite funk. Låg beska med en lätt strävhet som sedan övergår i en avrundande sötma.

On draft at Elijah P’s. Deep red brown with a funky off white head. I smell vinegar in front but cherry and malts under. I tasted must less vinegar and more cherry. Earthiness and mustiness. Some bark / mushroom but just a little. It is quite sweet and made for a good dessert beer. Some grapes and they were almost grape jelly. A bit of spice at the finish was an interesting surprise. This is dangerous stuff. So easy to drink and one could easily find himself unable to walk steadily.

Ruby pour, minimal white head. Aroma is fan-fucking-tastic, sour cherries, blackberries, wine and leather. Flavor is sour cherries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries... sweet. Awesome.

250ml bottle. Clear dark ruby red color. Medium size, pink head, stays. Bit milky, fruity, caramel, sweet, cherry in aroma. Cherry stones, fruity, sourish, straw, bit woody notes in taste. Nice and crisp. Long lasting fruity cherry in aftertaste. Nice one.

Medium pink head. Clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Cherry juice and almonds aroma with yoghurty notes. Sweet metallic cherry taste with oily notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish, and faintly acidic, almonds and cherries aftertaste with metallic wooden notes. It grew on me. It’s actually quite nice, even if it is a little bit sweet. (0.33l bottle, I have no idea where from.)

Bottle. Nice ruby red body with a small pinkish head. Aroma has cherries and also quite notable lactic/yoghurty notes. Big cherry taste with more yoghurt in the background. Medium level tartness - similar to Lindemans’ sweetened fruit Lambics with the sweetness being even a bit lower (a good thing). It also recalls some core elements of Rodenbach and their own Duchesse. Medium to low complexity but utterly refreshing. I want to be able to buy this in big ass two litre plastic bottles (the ones that are exclusively restricted to hobo lagers here) and chug it in the coming hot summer.

Red beer, small off-white head. Nose is cherries, caramel, malt somewhere in there, sweet notes, something lactic. Flavor is sweet caramel mixed with sour cherries, sourness dominating. Pretty dry and cherry-y finish, lingering sourness and caramel. Mouthfeel is pretty dry. Not the best kriek I’ve ever had, but not exactly bad either.

0,25L bottle (from Koht, Tallinn). Pours dark red with pink head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, fruits, cherries, caramel, candy. Flavor is sweet and sour, cherries, caramel, metallic notes, wood, acidic notes, and alcohol. Carbonation is high. Overall: ok brew.

Pour the tulip a clear body of coppery red and white foam in pink tones of short duration. Flavor and cherry wood alcohol. It features soft colors acetic and cherry pits nuances and refined sugar. Your taste is sharp cherries, cherry pits, dark fruit, raisins, caramel, with hints of balsamic, some dark and pale malt, light notes of spices and wet oak. The body is medium to lightweight, high for fizzy carbonation. A beer with good presence and does not leave much to be desired when compared to classic fruity sweet beers of Belgian style, however is for the few who can really appreciate, but turns out to compare it to lower drinks. Negative I can say that I did not like the average sour arising and very last wood. It’s really quite nice, although a little sweet for my taste.

Dark amber coloured. Not much head. Sour cherry, some sweetness and a strange freshness dominate the nose. Grape, cherry, sweetness balanced by a light sourness makes a delightful flavour. Has a light cherrysweetness in the end, that again is balanced by a subtle and mild sourness.
