A very acidic and nice cherry flavored sour. Nice flavors of oak, cherry, and light pale malt that round out the tartness. Very balanced and impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Served from tap into a Trappe Door tulip. Poured a deep ruby red with a one finger slightly pink head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, cherry, candied sugar, strawberry, and sweet tarts. The flavor was of sweet malt, strawberry, cherry, sugar, cherry syrup, and subtle sweet tart. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. I will warn all who approach this brew that it is a lot more sweet than some other Krieks out there. This does cover up quite a bit of the subtle flavors that were present as I could not pick them out unfortunately. For what they were aiming for it really wasn’t too bad if I honest as the sweetness did carry throughout, but it wasn’t overpowering to the point where you think you are going to get diabeetus from drink a glass of it. A fairly well done brew that I wouldn’t mind having again in the future if more funky Krieks are not available at the time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap@ Taphouse. Its hard to see in here but it appears red with a pillowy head and generous lacing. Smells like sour cherry cotton candy. Tastes tart but a little metallic. Dry and tart. Would be a higher rating without the metallic tinge.

Pours medium red with tan head. Aroma of yeast, sour, and cherry sweetness. Citrus and a bit of vanilla as well. Taste is very sweet with tartness throughout. Finishes crisp and provides an overall amazing beer

Bottle at DHVL. Almost clear deep brown light with medium light brown head. Aroma of almonds, cherries, light vinegar, light red onion and chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium sour with notes of almonds, cherries, light biscuit and bread. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Great beer with lots of cherry flavour.

[US West Coast Trip 2013] rödaktig, körsbär, fruktig. Smaken är ännu bättre, lite syrligare och kraftigare än aroman.

Deep ruby red with thin wispy head which dissipates fast. Deep floral cherry like aroma. Mouthfeel is strange, taste spreads to the sides of the mouth, finishes with a slightly sour after taste. If you have ever had Cherry Blasters (the candy) - this is liquid Cherry Blasters. That is the most accurate rating I can give.

33 cl. draft @ DHL – thx! A: dark brown cherry with solid mid size pink head. Nose is sweet cherry, light added sweeteners, almost grenadine, whilst still remaining some real fruits feel to it. Taste is touch sweet cherry grenadine, light sweetly metallic, bit of an off-putting note, additives, touch cloying, hint of oak & real fruits. Made with real cherries & not kriek according to the description – wth? Too sweet, some off-putting notes – not a real one for me but every enjoyable for a sweet beer.
