Dark red color with no head. Cherry aroma. Very old, cherry taste, like they are old to the point of mushiness, but not so far gone that they are rotten. Odd presence of malt as well. It didnít strike me as sour.

Acidic cherry smell, more acidic than other Flemish Ales. The cherry is so tart I have trouble actually gauging the flavor because my saliva glands are so busy freaking out I canít taste anything. The carbonation is pretty intense here, enough it seems to affecting the flavor slightly. Very funky/dank flavor underneath those cherries, rather interesting actually. Not quite on par with say...the Petrus, but fairly tasty nonetheless.

Pours reddish brown with a fizzy pink head. Aroma is musty cherries. Flavor is sligtly tart and is of cherries, wood, and some funky taste with maybe cinnamon. Mouthfeel is carbonated, like champagne.

Bright red coloured body with a thin off-white head with pink and copper tints. Aroma of tart cherries, malt, alcohol and a pungent sweetness. Medium-bodied; Tart cherry flavour up front with a short sweetness and not much malt-one dimensional. Aftertaste sharp and bitter from the cherries-not left smooth! Overall, a decent cherry lambic-not smooth or refined, but good to try this rare beer! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Vienna, Virginia on 29-August-2004.

Dark Red Coloring. No Head. Cherry Aroma..Musty Cherries.... and the Flavor is Those SAME Cherries After Sitting on the Table for a YEAR....Almost Like a Burnt Old Cherry Taste. Crisp At the End... Not Quite My Favorite....

This is not the beer for me. pours out a cherry "koolaid" red with a fast fading head.Smells like sherry and nuts. Not a bad taste, but not for me.Starts with a sort of metallic stale taste, then tart cherries and wood.buried in there is a band-aid sort of unpleasant flavour, like the beer is "off"The beer is thin. Nicely carbonated. Strangely this beer tastes better guzzled!!!?

Pours a pink/mahogany colour with a thin pink head. Aromas of cherries, pipe tobbacco, cinnamon. Tastes of cinnamon, cherries, red wine, has a nice sourness to it and none of the flavours were to overbearing. Quite nice I belive Iíll need more for christmas.

Beautiful ruby-purple beer with a frothy pink head. Prominent cherry aroma, warm spices (nutmeg, clove, cinnamon). Tannic and lactic acidic aroma. Flavour is nicely structured, a bit of lactic and acetic acid. Vineous quality. Cherry flavour, spice, with a nice tart and fruity finish.

Sparkling clear ruby body topped by a foamy small pink head. The aroma is sour cherries and light nuty malt. Sour cherry with a fakish cherry flavor, cherry syrup I guess. Really not very good, tastes kind of off to me, a bad funk rather than the good funk that I enjoy so much. Very stringent finish. Not very good. I am dissapointed as the others from this brewery are quite good.

One of a six-different-beers-present, normally I would only buy one of those cherry-beers for using in some cooking-recipe. This one tastes like cassis-lemonade, only the pink head reminds me that this is beer.
