Excellent. Cherry that is well balanced at the end. Still fan of lambics with a the sour punch at the end, but the oaky/muted finish is growing on me with this one. This is smooth and soft with nice subtle flavors. Good for those who aren’t big beer drinkers.

Donker roodbruin bier met schuim. Smak is fris zuur en fruitig, duidelijke zure kersen smaak met licht zoete anijs invloed. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

37,5CL, 3 finger cherry pink head. blood red beer.the nose is really good. very sour cherry forward, just a touch of sweetness. Oud Bruin taste, cherry is now more medicine like, a bit too sweet, lacks a lot of compexity but honestly it’s not terrible, malt backbone supports the sweetness well but it seems like more of a girls’ drink.

Appearance: deep, clear cherry red with a creamy, light tan/pink head. Aroma: strong aroma of cherry cough syrup, a hint of tootsie roll, vanilla, and oak. Taste: sweet and tart cherry, some prune/plum, a bit of chocolate and wood, with a hint of funk (maybe brett, maybe lacto). Finish: like a sweet-tart candy, with a bit of zip from the carbonation. Notes: Certainly not the best kriek I’ve ever had, but definitely not bad. A little too funky right out of the tap, but significantly improving as it warms up. On draught at Victoria’s Gastropub in Columbia, Maryland.

Tasted a little bit like vinegar mixed with ear wax. Kind of sweet and sour. Nicht so gut
