Jun 1, 2004 A red beer with a small white disappearing head. The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of wood and cherries. The flavor is boring of cherries, and dry wood with the carbonization tickling the tongue. The end is very dry with notes of over-ripe cherries.

Jun 2, 2005 (bottle 25 cl) In my version only 5,8% ABV. A different, stronger, more dry and less sweet Kriek. More beer, less fruit. A refreshing and quenching fruit-beer based on Sour Ale rather than sweetened lambic. If you miss Rodenbach Alexander, this is a decent substitute. 220896

Jun 2, 2008 25 cL bottle, thanks to BelJohansen. Pours clear and golden red with a lacing pink head. Extremely dry and sulphorish cherry aroma. Dry to acidic sulphor/wooden flavour. Solid citric bite following. Woody flavour seems more dominant than the cherry fruit notes. Ends in a citric to dry sulphor wood finish.
