Herber Antrunk, minimal (!) karamellmalzig, sehr mild, hopfenbitter. Scheint einfach gehalten, warum dies ein Winterbier ist..man weiß es nicht.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Barrelbelly (317) - BELGIUM - FEB 7, 2011
Sour smell. Very small head that does not hold long. Blonde appearance with limited carbonation at first sight. The carbonation which I was looking comes through way too strong right after the sour taste ruins the beer taste. But the aftertaste of metal soon takes the upperhand. The beer tastes more like it comes from a can but surprisingly it comes from a bottle. A real disappointment for a christmas beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 altonbrownd (3419) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 2, 2011
Bottle from Bierparadijs. Golden orange body with huge head. Nose of oranges and fruits. Taste of fruits, oranges, mangos and sugar. Taste is a bit sour, bitter and fruity. Okay.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jaghana (1803) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - JAN 19, 2011
Bottle 25cl. A clear golden beer with no head. Sweet and intense in spice like clove, cinnamon and cardamom the beer has a toasted malt body with some hints of dark chocolate. The beer is easy drinkable but a bit low in complexity, lightly lemony and hops flavor are low.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sigmund (3495) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2010
Bottles, shared at Holmen Nanobryggeri’s annual Christmas/Yule beer tasting. ABV 7.2%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Spicy aroma. Moderately spicy flavour. Decent and drinkable, but a bit too far out on the "light" end of what is acceptable for a Christmas brew.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DeanF (1477) - Iqaluit, Nunavut, CANADA - DEC 2, 2010
Bright gold body, decent pillow of modestly thick head. Aroma of grains and some off-hand grassy rottenness on the back end. Taste is a load of malt boosted by hoppy notes, and then a dry finish. Almost like chewing on the mistletoe. Yet, it’s drinkable.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 larsga (4435) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2010
Small white head. Hazy pale yellow body with carbonation and floaties. Alcoholic herbal aroma is boring. Dry herbal alcohlic taste with faint honey notes. Thin body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry herbal floral mealy aftertaste. Pointless. Either that, or killed by previous beer. Should rerate. (0.25l bottle from gr0ve.)
