1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Boring looking golden body and medium white bubbly head. Very sweet malts, grainy, cheap appeal. it of hay perhaps. White sugar, simple malt. Only the end has some spice and saltyness to it. Really a standard Belgian blond. No character, nothing Christmas about this. Everything that is wrong about Belgian beer (while there is so much good about it). (25cl bottle from Cave Gambrinus SPdC)

Dobre i chmielne, nieco cytrusowe w zapachu, przypominalo mi amerykanskie pale ale, byc moze dodano tu chmielu rodem z USA. Niewielka piana, zlocisty kolor, brak drozdzowego osadu. Delikatne i lekkie, co dziwi przy wyzszym stezeniu alkocholu.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
2013 Bottle (I believe) - Best By Date of 2014 / 05 / 12
Completely crisp golden coloured body with a very fast-just oily topped off-white head. Aroma of cereal, bread, malt, yeast, wort and more grain - not too pleasant at all. Medium-bodied; Assertive effeverscence with a cereal and grain kick, some mild earthiness and an unfinished wort quality that doesn’t lend to a solid finish. Aftertaste shows some malt, a hint of sugars and the unfinished yeastiness that isn’t pleasant. Overall, a sub par beer, and a poor Christmas/winter beer regardless of where you are, especially in Belgium! Not worth buying and especially not worth bringing back across the pond. I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased from De Bier Tempel in Bruges, Belgium on 14-August-2013 for €2,00 sampled at home in Washington, after Christmas 2013 on 05-January-2014.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Yamaichi. Light yeastiness, pureed fruit, some spice. Lightly hazy golden/amber color, thin head. Mild sweet fruity initial / some oxidation and then sugar / a small acidic note, and then it simpers down into tiny sweetness in finish. Medium body, slight astringency. Okay.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
25cl Bottle from Lost Property. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is quite malty, cake, bread, coups be imagination but I found it Christmassy in a way, fruity esters. Flavour is malts, bread, cake, a hint of alcohol and fruity tartness, grape, light spicy, light-tart/bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Nice beer IMHO.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
250ml bottle, pours golden brown with a foamy billowy white head over a clear golden body. On pouring, the nostrils receive a healthy banana aroma. In the mouth it’s more refined, with additional belgian yeast aromas and caramel. The finish is balanced, short and crisp. Very decent blonde Belgian ale,
