Bottle, 25 cl. Golden yellow colour, big white head, dense. Aroma is fruity, some hops. I smell banana, apple and peach. Taste is also a little bit fruity, like peaches, but not too sweet, a bit hoppy dryness, slightly bitter, dry finish, nice, but after some sips it ends a bit watery.

[On tap - Blindtasting at Pegasus.] First impression was Poperinge Hommelbier and I did not accept, that is was a belgo x-mas beer, due to the lack of spices. Lots of hops and heavy fruits in the triple way. Some dust and horse. Fresh and nice!

Fad: Pilsnergul øl med et lille skumhoved. Duft af krydderier men stadig en mærkelig juleøl på grund af farven og den lidt kedelige smag. Ikke synderlig spændende.

Bottle, 25cl. It pours a clear, sparkling golden body, topped by a white, creamy head of gigantic proportions. The head lasts and leaves lacings. The nose is on the fruity side, with canned fruits, some banana, a gentle spicy touch and some resiny hops. It’s qute effervescent in the mouth, full-bodied and slightly warming. It has flavors of banana and ripe, yellow apples, some spices and a fine bitterness. It finishes quite bitter, with some resin and sweetness too. There’s not much Christmas in this beer, at least not in my book, but it’s a fine beer, well suited for the colder days. Would probably do fine on a late summer evening too, before bed time. (090427)
