(Bottle, best before 16-02-07) Pours a deep ruby-brown body with a spare off-white head. Aroma of dark fruit, sour milk, and vinegar. Flavor of sour fruit and sugar.

Bottle. Clear brown body. Vinegar, sherry, and sugary grape soda in the aroma. Laughable flavor - thin and sugary with a light tart woodiness and cherry on the end. Whatever.

Thanks Jason. The beer pours to a dark brown body with a thin cola head. The aroma is sweet and sour cherries and grapes. I tasted it and said "What the fuck!?". The flavor is odd Halloween candy, stale and flat cola, circus peanuts. Sugar water. Not sour at all. Balsamic vinegar taste but not pep. The palate is not sour or acidic. Definitely rating this one to style. Such a let down.

JCapriotti (1379) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 1, 2006
Thin fizzy light brown head. Brownish copper clear body. Sweet & sour aroma... Hmm... cheesey/moldy cherry vinegar, grape soda, not much going on. Stale crackers. "Entry-level" flemish sour as DavidP just said. Cheap candy. Blah. Tastes like sugar water with some grape soda added.

Dark brown colored, medium sized light brown head. Sweetness, sourness and mild cherries in aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also sour and sweet, aftertaste is mildly dry with strong, almost metallic sourness.

Bottled. Reddish-brown, well-carbonating beer with a large, firm, creamy beige head. Acidic and tart cherries on the nose, but weak. Mild sourness in the flavor, along with cherries, raspberry, some lemon-like notes and caramel. Very sweet, but watery mouthfeel. Sweet and metallic finish. (060616)

YogiBeera (2444) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2006
Light brown coor, fizzy medium head. Light cherry and slightly sour nose - but very weak. Very light - almost Coca Cola taste - light short sour kick but all in all more sweet than sour.

pivo (2544) - GERMANY - APR 30, 2006
Light caramel nose, dark amber color, sticky tan head. Sweet syrupy malt, even brown sugar taste. No bitter or spice to counter the thick sweet body. Or how about some sourness? Too one-sided and overall offputting.

Bottle. Red brown colour with a tan head. Fruity and a little sour aroma. Sweet flavor with some hints of fruits and sourness. Sweet and woody finish.

Dark amber color. Spicy aroma (cloves), some malt. In the flavor there is a little portion of the Verhaeghe character and light sweetness, but it’s too weak. In the final there is a light wood/cask touch.
