Just found this rating on a sheet of paper from last summer. small tan dissapating head into dark brown clear body. aromas of sour apple and strong vinegar. flavor is well vinegar. Not for me but did finish and by the end wasn’t as bad.

Aug 26, 2008 deep burgundy with almost no head but a thin tan foam on top. The aroma is of ripe red fruits and slightly vinous, with some spices as well. Starts quite sweet, fruity, developing in a nice mellow acetic tartness. Good.

Aug 23, 2008 Bottled in Take oNe in Maastricht. Dark ruby and brown color, thin beige head, port nose. Aroma has fruits and port. Reminds me some sour ruby port. Aftertaste is like Shiraz redwine. Interesting, well composed beer.

Aug 19, 2008 Bottle shared by emacgee. Thanks Ethan! Nose is strong cherry vinegar and wood. Flavor has a lot of wood character, some sweeter cherries, balsamic vinegar, a bit of raisin. Its not incredibly sour and just wasn’t very exciting for me. Not my favorite type of sour ale.

Aug 17, 2008 Pours reddish with a nice white head. Initial taste is tart apple with a slightly sweet under tone. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Aug 10, 2008 Dark, redish brown with a medium tan head. Fruity and malty tones. Some sournesss, carbonation and malt. Medium body with a nice bittersweet finiish.
