A full-bodied, copper ale with an enticing aroma and a warm rich finish. Mildly hopped with an abundance of malt in the palate in the finest tradition of the Netherlands.

Hazy yellow with some particulate. No head. Sweet nose. Big hit of sweet- too much. Some pineapple. Not very effervescent.

Good for its age. Sadly we are unclear exactly what year the bottle was, but sampled at Radekfest 2005. Hazy golden body with plenty of floaties. Spicy and fruity yeast in the crazy bready aroma. Some cider like flavours in this lightly carbonated dry beer.

This bottle opened with a much better cork pot than the last bottle I opened at a Dallas gathering. Beer pours clear golden with a fizzy white head that totally dissipates. Aroma is very fruity, estery. Flavor is sweet and sour with some Chardonnay characteristics like its sister beer Beatrix. I am curios how this beer would have been when it was you, however I feel it is definetely past its prime now.

Bottle. Golden yellow in colour with some suspended floaties. The aroma was rather yeasty, had lots of apples, earthy and bready. The flavour was yeasty, some citrus, apples again, pears and some pepper. Medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a medium bitterness with some alcohol. Not bad.

04.23.05 750ml bottle thanks to Matta. Paler golden with huge white head. Sheeting lace. Lots of apple on nose, triple-ish. Sweet flavor up front with apple and white grapeskin. Fairly oxidized with sherry notes. Very dry to finish, very dry, very spicy. Pears emerge and linger. Wow itís dry. Thanks Matt, for this fun brew.

Tap NY evening. I believe Wilblake got this from Matta, so thank you Matt! Hazy golden, creamy white head. Sherried dried fruit aroma. Cardboard. Musty cardboard, dried fruit flavor. Rather old, but still tasty.

Not sure how this one would hold up - been sitting in the fridge for ~1 year and from the stories I read, it may be older than that. Poured a medium, cloudy amber color with a small white head. Aroms of cork, rubber and yeast. Hmm, smell made me worry a little bit. Tastes of citrus, yeast and light spices. Lightly sweet. Tastes a lot better than the aromas. Lively body.

Poured a hazy gold color with a small, white, quickly diminishing head that left very light lacing on the glass. Aroma was full of bread, leather, yeast, rubber, cork, and butterscotch. Taste was citrus, lightly spicy, sweet with more yeast and alcohol. Lively carbonation.
