3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Probiere (992) - Iowa, USA - JUN 6, 2005
Nose: grapefruit, orange, barely peaches. Taste: lots of grapefruit, dryish finish, bitterness, with a floral/peach aftertaste. Full mouthfeel, a touch oily. Malt underneath is biscuity.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nate (3326) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2005
Great hop aroma. Oily citrus, bitter ozonoe and cat urine, grapefruit. Mild sweet citrus, too. Hazy golden yellow, almost amber, with thin off-white head. Medium body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts hoppy and bitter. Fruity citrus sweet ozone, a bit of alcohol. Nice bitterness throughout the entire drink, going from fruity to astringent in the after taste. Really bitter IPA, and I would have like a bit more sweet balance at the finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Eructoblaster (2444) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 3, 2005
On tap at the pub. Dark gold body topped with a thin and lasting white creamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with strong melon notes and some more discreet herbal ones. Hoppy taste with stronger herbal notes than in the aroma. Melon flavors are still present. Ends with a fair bittersweet finish.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (8239) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 16, 2005
Hazy golden ale with a creamy white head, with nice lacings. Pungeant resinous hops in aroma. Chunks of citrus and grapefruits in mouth, with a good malt base. Rich bodied and pleasing.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 VTHopHead (1389) - Barre, Vermont, USA - JUL 24, 2004
Draft at the Pub - Poured a hazy orange/amber in color with a medium-thick white head. Forla/pine/citus hop aroma. Big hop flavor with lots of citrus and grapefruit. Yum! Finishes with a nice bitter citrus bite that lingers a while. We will meet again...
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Volgon (2761) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 3, 2004
On tap at the brewery: Hazy light orange with a small white head. Grapefruit and flowers in the aroma, full bodied, crisp bitter taste that turns into a mild sweetness at the end. One of their better beers.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 ChazyRPh (581) - Chazy, New York, USA - MAY 17, 2004
on cask...Pours a slightly hazy honey color with a medium white head. Incredible lacing. Nice floral hop aroma with a lot of pine. Very smooth, creamy start, moving more hoppy toward the middle. Awesome finish with cascade hops & a nice bitter grapefruit, pine finish. Superb, worth the trip alone.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 DYCSoccer17 (3012) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 13, 2004
3 oz draught sample at brewpub then pint of cask ale. This is by far the brewpubs best offering without the shadow of a doubt. Magnificent sweet, fruity, citrus aroma with some cascade notes in there as well. Copper colored with clear small off-white head and the lacing is impeccable and rivals only that of Fuller’s London Porter in my experience. Start has citrus notes and creaminess in the middle. Finishes with some great cascade bite.

Draft @ brewpub. Cloudy golden color. Big hoppy floral aroma and taste. Not too happy with the bitter mouth that was thin. Big dry finish.
