A light, refreshing fruit beer fremented with over 500 pounds of real raspberries! At 6.2% ABV it is in the early reaches of the strong biére category! This ruby red, sour mashed and oak aged weiss beer is for everyone. Maybe some oak, cherry and vanilla come through? Try mixing it with our currently offered stout, on tap. It is real, it is right and it works. The freshest framboise on tap in town, no question!

New England Bucket List Trip #131. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear vibrant red with a thin fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of tart raspberry, concord grapes, pale malt. The taste is spice, tart raspberry, concord grapes, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering tartness.

Sample on tap at Brewpub (Burlington). Pours ruby red. Aroma is a great mix of rasberry and cherries. Taste is bit thin unfortunatey. Some sourness. Probably more interesting in a pint. Good fruit beer.

Pours a light pinkish gold with a small white ring. Aroma is raspberry and light grain. Taste is more raspberry juice than anything funky. Tiny oak characteristics provide dryness.

[5286-20130428] Tap. Raspberry juice aroma has a light straw background. Clear, bright red body with a quick foamy white pink head. Raspberry fruity yeast flavour has a lightly soured cherry note initially. Medium body. Refreshing, drinkable. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

First off, if your drinking it now, I’m jealous. You can’t get it anywhere but in the Vermont pub and brewery. I fell in love with sour mash beers there. The moment they set it in front of you, you can tell it’s something special. It’s raspberry red color is inviting. The nose is a blast of fresh raspberries and hint of oak from the casks. So smooth and refreshing, it screams beautiful summer days in burlington. At 6.2 percent, it’s like a beautiful woman who loves you then tears your heart out. Cheers.

Aroma tad too sweet. Medium intense with light fruity backing. Notes of raspberry.
Top: white lasting small top. 3+
Base: clear ruby ale.
Palate : light carbonation, smooth silky texture. Medium bodied, thinner walls with average finish.
Taste: refreshing lighter raspberry flavoured ale. Easy going and approachable.

2013-04-28. Crisp red Body small pinkish head fades. 3+ Fruity Aroma of tart raspberry is quite nice. Flavour is similar, tart raspberry dominates the flavour, fruity. Ephemeral cherry undertones are likely just raspberry in disguise. Average to light bodied palate, carbonation is a bit too low. 2+ Simple but tasty for a fruit beer. On tap at the brewpub
