2013-04-28. Crisp red Body small pinkish head fades. 3+ Fruity Aroma of tart raspberry is quite nice. Flavour is similar, tart raspberry dominates the flavour, fruity. Ephemeral cherry undertones are likely just raspberry in disguise. Average to light bodied palate, carbonation is a bit too low. 2+ Simple but tasty for a fruit beer. On tap at the brewpub

Had at the pub itself. Pours a purple-red colour with not much lace. Beautiful raspberry aromas with some tart. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Taste is pretty much the same as the nose but a little milder with light sourness in the finish. Refreshing on a hot summer day on the patio.

(17 avril 2013)

Draft @ the Brew Pub. 6 oz. snifter shows a really nice reddish purple color. Aroma is heavy tart raspberry and wheat. The flavor starts fairly sweet up front with the berry then transitions into a tart, acidic berry flavor. Lingering tart berry stays with you for a short duration. Overall this batch turned out really nice. Above average raspberry wheat beer here and the women folk really seem to enjoy this!

tap at the brewpub last year - This brew pours deep red and has an ample raspberry aroma. It has a sweet fruity flavor with no noticeable hop bitterness. It’s slightly watery but overall a very solid fruit beer.

Sampled at Siptemberfest. Pours a light raspberry color with a thin pinkish head. Raspberry aroma with a wheat background. Flavor was quite fruity. Think Hi-C with alcohol in it. Thin palate. It was a bit on the sour side and I did enjoy that.

On tap at the brewpub. Pale red, off white head. Somewhat sweet, lots of raspberry although more syrup then fruit, bit of grain. Mild, low carbonation, somewhat dry. Decent but would have preferred more fresh raspberries versus sweet syrup.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear oinkish red pour, with no head. Aroma of well, duh, raspberries. But its quite fruity kn general, all sorts of berries, and quite a bit of funk. The description the in the bar also claims it’s aged in oak. That would explain the light hints of vanilla, and wood im getting also. The body is nice, but the carb is very low. The finish is like a boozy cranberry juice. Quite tart, with a lightly sweet finish, with a load of fruitiness. Nice stuff but some carbonation would have made it that much better.

On tap at the source. golden with a pink tinge to it and a thin off white head that sticks for a bit. Smells of raspberries mostly. Hints of sour and tart underneath, but this one is mostly raspberries. Taste is lightly tart with again lots of berries and a bit of sweet bready malt underneath. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a sweet yet tart mouthfeel. I only got 3 oz of this and that was plenty. Nice if you like a little beer in your raspberry spritzer.
