COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light, refreshing fruit beer fremented with over 500 pounds of real raspberries! At 6.2% ABV it is in the early reaches of the strong biére category! This ruby red, sour mashed and oak aged weiss beer is for everyone. Maybe some oak, cherry and vanilla come through? Try mixing it with our currently offered stout, on tap. It is real, it is right and it works. The freshest framboise on tap in town, no question!

Very fruity. Nice red pour, and smells nice, but a little too fruity for my taste. Almost a cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at the brewery. Pinkish color with a light head. Raspberries come through nice. Refreshing, but not over the top.

Draft the the brewpub. Hazy purple, large bubble edge head. Aroma of raspberry perfume. Taste is not sweet, but also not too sour. OK.

Pours a pinkish red color with no head. Aroma of raspberry is powerful and generally matches the flavor. Not much else beyond the raspberry other than a back ground of wood.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours red with a pink head. Aroma of raspberry fruit, very juice-like. Flavor of tangy sour raspberry (thankfully less juice-like than the aroma suggested). The palate is definitely on the weaker side though, I need a more robust malt backbone so there is less juice-like quality! A decent fruit beer overall. 7/4/7/3/14 [3.5/5]

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, crisp raspberry - light cherry touch, not sulphorish. Dry raspberry fruity. Light citric and mellow finish.

Tap at Vt Pub. Pours a hazed bright reddish with thinning head. Aroma is big raspberry puree, seedy, mineral, sweet fruit juice, and light plasticy phenolics and grass. FLavor is shapr astringent cherry pit, rasp seeds, minerla, light metlalic, fruit juice with a slick finsih, but the fruit is very prounounced, mostly fresh, and low to no aceto. not bad.

On tap at Vermont brewpub. Sampler
Appearance : Shiny red.
Aroma : Great fresh and wild raspberries. Very fruity. Crisp.
Taste : Nice fruity and fresh raspberries. Light tartness.
Overall : Nothing really fancy here but this is very tasty. This is a very nice example of fruit beer. Not "over the top" in any way but really well made. The were not afraid to put a ton of raspberries in there. I find it a bit like the Framboyante from BdT but without the hops. This was a very nice summer beer (why is it a winter seasonal ?) and I think it’s slightly underrated here... Maybe it’s not always in such good shape.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy ruby red with a very small white head. Aroma is raspberry, wheat and lightly sour notes. Flavor of the same. Kinda reminds me of a raspberry weise.
