(Rating #2526)

Growler. Very thin body. Light on the tart and sour with a bit of raspberrys but not juicy. A bit dry with a little butter.

Growler shared at the Smoke from the Oak release. Pours a light clear red with a hint of a white head. Piles of raspberry and a slight bit of crisp acid. Body is thin and fruity, ends with a chewy light sour. Pretty tasty and easy drinking, but a little light.

Draft at the brewpub - Poured a beautiful ruby red in color with a very small white head. Aroma is all raspberries and quite strong. Flavor matches pretty much and is fairly sweet. Not much here from a beer perspective, but I enjoyed anyway.

Deep red colour and crystal clear. Rich bright raspberry aroma. Bright and fruity smelling. Flavour is a bit strange and flat though. Sort of watery on the palate. A bit of lightly peppery heat, raspberry and a lot of ethanol on the back. Meh.

20080730 Tap at brewpub. The brewpub description says it is a light, refreshing, strong biere. Well, that is odd. At any rate, the berries are disappointingly the only redeeming quality of this beer as it is seemingly on a backbone of some bland American wheat or something like that.

Sampled at 08 vt brewers fest. Pours reddish in color with a ultra small white head. Aroma of raspberries. Flavor is tart and fruity with raspberries and is light bodied with a dry finish

Pours reddish pink, dissipating head. Aroma is boldly of raspberries. Flavor is very dry, really no residual sweetness. Body is light. Refreshing.

Pours an interesting magenta color with almost no head. Very fruity smell, obviously raspberries. Tastes pretty much like bad raspberry juice - extremely fizzy for a beer. Couldn’t drink more than a few gulps.
