axilla (942), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 12, 2005 More old notes I continue to find. Pour looked like it should...cider. Aroma is apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Flavor similar to the nose with a sour hop twist that doesn’t seen to fit. Well carbonated so give it a few minutes. LilKem (1169), Marietta, Ohio, USA Apr 9, 2005 Tasted like apple pie only really dry flavor. I have been looking for this one forever too. carbonation and almost warm to taste from the tap. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Dec 28, 2004 Updated: Dec 29, 2004Spicy and tart cinammon, pepper and apples in the nose. A very appealing aroma. Opaque tan-brown with fizzy white head that recedes to ring. Flavour has a citrus-lemon character that is more sour than tart. There is a stale, oxidized feeling to this one. Strong carbonation is quite gassy. Sampled on tap at the brewpub. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Dec 1, 2004 Half-pint at the brewpub. This may be my first cider/beer mix, and it’s surprisingly decent: muddy light amber, opaque with no head...spicy apples in the nose, hints of dry spice (pepper, oregano, cinnamon)...lemony flavor predominates early, somewhat sour and wheat-beer like, estery, Granny Smith tartness shows up late...medium carbonation, but highly effervescent, tart finish...very quaffable, could use more spices I think.
