Vermont Pub Lupe

This beer was definitely about hops. Color was a murky straw yellow with a slim white head. The aroma was hoppy and fruity. The taste was excellent, extremely hoppy and slightly citrus with a clean after taste. The best beer I had in a sampler.

12 oz draught at the brewpub. "All about hops and malt"? Really? Never woulda guessed....anyway stupid description aside this carries a tiny white head atop a hazy dark gold body that laces a bit....the nose is spicy, piney and a bit peppery along with bitter orange and a bit of resinous oiliness.....body is thick, juicy and a touch syrupy, moderately bitter at the front edging to quite strong at the finish....smooth and slick, lightly ashy and smoky; fairly solid if unmemorable example.
