Reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of wild yeast, dark fruits, brett, and light toast. Taste of dried fruits, lighter sweetness, berries, and wild yeast with a tart finish.

Pours thick amber with a small sandy head. Aroma is light sweet tangy yeast. Flavor brings some light berry juice flavors with very little to almost no tart. Body is super light.

On tap at the brewpub - Poured a dark amber in color with a small tan head. Aroma was acetic with plenty of fruitiness... cherries, apples. A hint of caramel malt. Flavor is moderately acetic with apples and cherries. Some barnyard funk along with some woodiness. Interesting...

(draft) Beige head atop clear dark amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, wood/cherry, light spice. Taste is medium sweet, cherry, wood. Light-medium body, light acidity. There’s Brett and nut much else here, though that isn’t actually bad.

Growler. Hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Unclean, tart aroma. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, some caramel and less pleasant notes of manure. Oddly unclean. 110709

Full, fruity aroma, with cherry and oak. Some hints of woody notes in the flavor but with time it doesn’t reveal more depth--just the opposite. Moderate acidic/sour palate. At RBSG 2009.
