33cl bottle. Clear light greenish colour with a small greenish white head. Herbal aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is sweet with herbal notes. Overall, could be a kind of Absinthe drink, but beer... It doesn’t taste like it.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A). Bottle 33 cl - batch L16071 13:15. AROMA: predominant herbal aroma with medium intensity, with a fresh Artemisia touch. medium-low malt sweet background aroma with an almost neutral character. APPEARANCE: light green color and translucent. medium-low white to light greenish-white head with low retention. TASTE: similiar to the aroma with herbal notes. low sweet malty background and neutral. low bitterness with an almost sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an herb brew with the base beer almost impercetible.

Ignoble.

Clear with a pretty magical light green colour with a bubbly but restrained head. Aroma is lime cordial, herbs, a bouquet of alpine flowers. Taste has an herbal/medicinal quality with a reasonable amount of sweetness. Dry finish. I’ll give it this: it’s truly unique.

Green color, clear liquid and small head. Aroma is sweet with some herbs notes. Taste also sweet. On the palate the finish is long with some bitter green perceptions. Different beer, but not bad.

Quoted from the advertisement on the bottle " The Verte du Mont Blanc is a unique beer because it marries our excellent brewing reputation with a local alpine flower, the Génépi. The Result? A fine and light beer, the best of the Alps in your glass... To your health!" 1) Adding some hop into water and brewing the mix doesn’t make necessarily a - what people commonly call - beer. 2) First time of my life I see some artificial coloring substances added into a "beer" ; To our health, really ? 3) With a light body, a thin texture, a flat carbonation and sweet finish for taste I’d rather drink a Corona ten times thant a single sip of that... thing.
