Bottle at Kingcecils Birthday Tasting. Pours green (!!!!) with a bubbly light green head. The aroma is very herbal with some wheaty notes. The flavour is artificial herbal in an undefinable way. Strange!

Green color, clear liquid and small head. Aroma is sweet with some herbs notes. Taste also sweet. On the palate the finish is long with some bitter green perceptions. Different beer, but not bad.

Quoted from the advertisement on the bottle " The Verte du Mont Blanc is a unique beer because it marries our excellent brewing reputation with a local alpine flower, the Génépi. The Result? A fine and light beer, the best of the Alps in your glass... To your health!" 1) Adding some hop into water and brewing the mix doesn’t make necessarily a - what people commonly call - beer. 2) First time of my life I see some artificial coloring substances added into a "beer" ; To our health, really ? 3) With a light body, a thin texture, a flat carbonation and sweet finish for taste I’d rather drink a Corona ten times thant a single sip of that... thing.

Jaune verte translucide.

Clear 33cl rip-top bottle:BBD 3 Jan 16.Shared on 28 April 15 at the Shrewsbury Bottle Swap meeting: cheers Mat for bringing this and not having any yourself, so split between 4 of us. Lime green with a white topping that soon dissipated. Herbal, fizzy lime cordial, the colour dictating my nose and taste senses so I couldn’t get passed the limeness of the beer. Interesting, but really my thing.

330ml bottle. Pours a spring grass green with a sweet, herbal aroma. Taste is far-removed from beer, more like a sweet fizzy Panda Pops-style drink. No detectable alcohol present. Overall it’s not too bad, certainly drinkable if a little medicinal. I’ve never tried the Genepi it’s claiming to be made with, and no doubt I’ll probably not like it, but I wouldn’t say no to this again.

Rare pale green colour with a thin head. Looks nice. Light herbal and malt aroma Taste is more than a soda than a beer. Soft herbal taste and poor malts Dificult for being love at first sight. Only for locals an lovers of génepi.
