Keg at Moeder Lambic Fontainas - Brussels. Pours lightly unclear yellow with a large, frothy white head. Nice fresh hoppy nose, with notes of melon, grapefruit, piss and lemon. Medium sweet flavor with balanced pale malt sugars, some lemon zest, rind, grapefruit pith. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, further melon and grapefruit, low bitterness. Quite impressive, really.

BlackHaddock (4052) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2014
Draught at the Brugge Beer Festival: 2nd Feb 2014. Poured a little hazy, light yellow/golden, smooth white head. Aroma came across as citrus, in big waves, grapefruit and lemon to the fore. Taste was also citrus led with grapefruit mostly, some mild yeastinesss and bitter throughout. Nice, but not really my thing: hid the alcohol well, so good body depth.

Tap @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy yellow, white foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of grapefruit and passion fruit. Light sweet, bitter hoppy finish. Well balanced. Very good.

Keg at Moeder Lambic, 6th October 14, advertised as 7% which I think is more accurate. Pours light and clear, lovely floral hop aroma, the taste is floral, light perfume, not too sweet, but light and highly drinkable. Delicious

Hazy blond colour, white head. Sweet malty aroma, hops, bit grassy, light citrus. Bitter flavour, hops, grass. Quite dry, light body for the abv. Could be more hop-forward as a double IPA, but nonetheless a nice and enjoyable brew.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Haze pale gold lasting white thick head. Massive tannin hoppy aroma. massively dry hopped. Hard to do well but this is excellent. Hides abv well. Floral big hoppy ipa without being sweet. Love it as an expression of hop flowers. Truly excellent. Some sweet apricot flavour. Very good fresh hop apricot tinged ipa

Alengrin (2355) - BELGIUM - SEP 28, 2014
Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy yellow blond beer wit greenish hue under a medium thick, milky, stable head. Very fruity aroma, hints of freshly cut mango, kiwi, lime, banana, grapefruit peel, butter, wheat, cider, white wine and herbal hops. Equally fruity taste, sourish touch, unripe stone fruit and exotic fruits, lemon zest, honey, smooth and slick mouthfeel, sweet pale malt background, citrussy hops in the finish but not enough to qualify as an IPA, let alone a DIPA. Still a very enjoyable beer that hides its strength very well.

Trappist1 (538) - Diest, BELGIUM - SEP 15, 2014
From tap@moeder lambic. Yellow, even with a white glance, white head. Damn, this nose takes you were you wanna be taken.very fruity, exotic, intense, but still has some human sweat around. Taste is fruity, bitter and long in an exotic fruit cocktail, but, alas, misses some punch. Low on carbonation, no signs of any alcohol punch. But still, very hoppy well made beer. Nonetheless the above, I go for it...

Koelschtrinker (10966) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - AUG 20, 2014
Bitter getreidiger Antrunk, angenehme Hopfigkeit, die immer erkennbar aber nur vollmundig ist. Süffig, rund, nett. 9/11/11/11//11
