Draught Fast gone greige head over red-brown shot black beer. Nice whisky & wood nose, and fruity esters mixing with alcoholic features, to a very complex aromaprofile indeed. Taste is blue mold cheese, vinous rather than spirit. Again the character is complex, with many fruity vectors. Backthroar real alcoholheat. Not really full bodied, and a tad undercarbonated. Ends with beautiful long-lasting main flavours. Gives the impression of being based upon Oud Bruin. Excellent try - again. Long, deep, complex beer that is very difficult to catch in words.

Bottled @ Nuetniegenough. Sampled about 5cl. The aroma has tart citric hints, some tones of wood and roast but that’s far away. Hazy, dark brown coloured beer with no head. The taste is citric sour, some vinegar, tart. Not much there which reminds me of stout or whisky. According to waiter this is due to risk with barrel aging. But if you use decent whisky barrels there’s no chance, because 50-60% alcohol in the wood usually kills all possible infections. So guess they were old barrels then. Anyway. Infected stuff nonetheless.

7.5% shared by Tadg. A very dark reddish brown, aged in whiskey barrels. Tart sour cherry acetic nose. Med-light bodied, sweet sour and tart - very tasty with cherry & earthy barrel notes. A bit of the peaty character comes through with a touch of chocolate. Great!

Dark color, decent beige foam. Surprising sour, oud bruin-ish aroma, probably the oaky touch. Red fruit, malty undertones. Roasted, woody flavours, hint of chocolate. Medium body.

37,5cl bottle, at 1 year celebration of Café Local! APPEARANCE: black beer, nice beige head. NOSE: cherries, wood, some alcohol, malts, some chocolate even. TASTE: some vanilla, slightly smoked, quite some carbonation, some whiskey hints, faint chocolate. Not the best they have, but very decent!

Gedronken op Zwevegem bierfestival. Aroma licht gebrande mout. Uiterlijk pek zwart je ziet er niet door, kraag verdwijnt zeer vlug. Smaak is zuur doet me aan een oud bruin denken, is volgens mij helemaal geen stout. Mist body. Een tegenvaller
