Hazy amberbrown color, with a beige head.
Good brew from this young brewers !
Aroma woody, nice fruits.
Taste again wood, fruits, well balanced sourness.

draft@GBF 2011: experimentally tapped, dark red with a small beige head, smell slightly sour with lots of tart cherries, wet wood, taste is strong tat cherries, lot of wood, aftertaste is slightly sour with lactic acid, light body, medium carbonation, great beer, can only get better in the future

Draught Small beige head over hazy foxy-amber beer. Oud bruin, at its best; extremely fruity, cherry, lactic acid, putteke, wet wood. Fresh, tart, oud bruin in wood, but less fruity in the mouth than in the nose. Only the MF leaves a bit to be desired, being a tad watery, but offering lasting lactic acid flavouring. Excellent! I want more from these guys. In the present sample, a bit more body and a bit more lagering might have elevated it even higher.

Note: the brewer calls this an experimental beer, as it is their first try for a Vlaams Oud Bruin. Possibly this beer will change in the future.
Bit cloudy copper red to brown beer, aery off-white smal head, unstable and non adhesive. Dissipates quite quickly. Aroma: fruity, sour cherries, wood, little sweet, some yoghurt (lactobacillus). Taste: sour but fruity start, lemony, raspberries, red currants. Aftertaste: lemon, raspberries, butter milk. The more you drink of it, the more complex flavours you are able to detect. This beer needs some balancing, but it’s already promising. Can’t wait till they make a blend with a 2 year old sour, instead of a one year old.
