4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask No head, even not a B.C."H."; chestnut-coloured, fully hazy beer. Wood, esters, forgotten cherries on wood, lactic acid, aromatic as few - wow! Dry, very cherry-like woody flavour. Finish is pure lactic acid and some tannines. Ultra-dry aftertaste, medium bodied despite the obviously high attenuation. Exists saturated on keg, but the foeder/cask version is preferable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2015 (backlog ZBF 04/2013) 2012 draught. Gouden Band-like balsamico and wood on odd milk chocolate malts, decently dried out by lively astringent sourness and very axtive brett. Bit watery, making it more drinkable than its demanding flavour profile would seem to suggest. / Rerate bottled from Geers, Editie 2013: 02/2015 bb2023. Vanilla balsamico, sour grapes, nicely tied in tannins, cherry milk chocolate. Potentially great stuff, would age.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours reddish brown with a tiny beige head and a sour brown aroma. There is a delicately sour fruit flavor that sticks to the palate. Quite similar to Rodenbach Grand Cru. Delicious.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared bottle at Nuetnigenough, Brussels, medio November 2013. Label read "Editie 2013". Did not see the "experimenteel" labelling on the back, but did not look for it either. ABV is 6%. Poured a deep ruby red body with a small light brown film. Fruity, vegetable, funky nose. Sour, acidic, crisp and clean. Medium bodied.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a rusty reddish-brown,not much head or retention, good carbonation though. Nose is musty and slightly metallic like an old pipe in an old library where no one has checked anything out of in a while. Mouth is dry and slightly cidery, sour and musty. Granted, Iím really not a fan of sours, so Iím most certainly not the best person to rate this, but Iíve had more remarkable examples of the style than this one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Dranken Pauwels Kortrijk. Says Editie 2013 stamped on the front but then on the back of the label it say Oud Bruin Experimenteel, so no idea where this should go, but the picture on this beer is the same and doesnít have the Experimenteel on the front as the other rating does. Anyway enough of what beer this is, whatís the beer actually like? Well I boght it cos I do love Flemish Red Sour as a style. Hazy reddish brown with no head. Cherry and fruity flavour with some sourness and some malt in the body. Sharp on the finish, like sharp red cherries. Itís excellent. There is carbonation in the body of the beer even though there is no head. The sourness is just the right level. Aroma of cherry vinegar. Itís lovely. True to style. Itís very good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
37.5cl bottle, 2013 Edition. Light brown, small beige head. Washy nose, nuts, wood, something unfresh. Taste is ripe fruit, wood again. cherries get sour in the finish, but overall not that sour for an old brown. Okey beer.
