UPDATED: FEB 3, 2014 Bottle. 2012 edition.
Appearance: very unstable head, fades away very fast, clouded red beer.
Nose: red fruits, ’coulis’-like, sour, wood.
Taste: very sour finish, starts somewhat flat and fruity, but a very flat beer. Reminded me of a flat rodenbach.
I had a previous batch of this beer, apparently it should be the same beer, but I enjoyed the previous one a lot more...

APPEARANCE: dark red beer, small unstable off white head.
NOSE: sour, wood, red fruits.
TASTE: sour, fruity, brett, wood, very nice!

Clear brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of red fruits, somewhat sour, citrus, light caramel, some yoghurt. Sour flavour, citric acid, lemon and yoghurt. Finish red fruits, sour, lingering light caramel.
Lovely beer! Very decent Oud Bruin.

Nose of sour cherries and yeast. Pours a cloudy reddish-amber with a mostly diminishing white head and no lacing. The taste is tart. Sour red fruit and vinegar. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Overall, a wonderful sour /tart beer that I hope to enjoy multiple times.

2012 ed., Tasted from the bottle, in Antwerp, 30/04/2013.
Opened with gushing, pours dark orange / brown,
Aroma is intense, more vinegary than lactic,
Taste is overwhelmingly sour, with acidic tang in the end. It's almost a hardcore geuze than the oud bruine.
Aftertaste is tickling tartness.
Definitelly too sour and biased towards vinegar-ish part.
Neutral, could be blended nicely with some sweet commercial oud bruins.

Bottle at RBJG#2 - Grand Tasting Tim’s Place. Clear brown - offwhite head. Soapy, roasted, mouldy, light sourish, lacto notes, coconut, rather sweet, balsamic notes, unbalanced.

no head, no lacing. dark clear redbrownish beer, soft carbonation. notes of lactic acid and wood in the smell. has a sour taste that reminds me more of citric acid than lactic acid, has a stringent after-taste, not very well balanced. this is a review of the 2013 edition, i liked it a bit more than the 2012 version and although i want to like it i can’t say that i enjoy it. tried at ZBF 2013 from bottle on 27/04/2013

My Bottom Line:
Cherries and wild edges brand this authentic Oud Bruin, leading to sourness and dryness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam skirts the dull amber haze.
-Fat bubbles and dryness work well together.
-Though this may not be distinctive, it is a simple and very effective example.
-I wouldn’t mind using this to show someone what the style is.

Bottled. Cloudy brown color. Cimplex nose of apples, pears, peaches, vinegar, grapes, nuts. Quite a nice new oud bruin. Rather light body.

Bottle. Pours red brown with a high cream/beige head. Nose is acetic with undertones of fruit and savory. Extremely sour on the front of the tongue, with a smoky bitterness following. Finish is dry and tight -- no sweetness at all. Good example of the style.
