33 cl. bottle sampled @ 19de Nationale Bierhappening: clear dark brown ruby with a slightly off-white head only on the sides - smell is lovely wine vinegar, instead of the usual cherry notes of an Oud Bruin, picking up some lovely raspberry and raspberry vinegar here, interesting, light malt - light caramel sweetness, hint caramel, light wine vinegar, red fruits, that lovely raspberry, raspberry vinegar, light sour berries in the back, leather, nice acidity - lightly fizzy, bit light, might liked the experimental version a bit more but this one is more ’experimental’ interesting due to raspberry-ness for me, good stuff

Edition 2013. Brun caramel, effervescence légère, col beige fin. Malts caramel, vineuse et même vinaigrée, assez sûre, un peu de fût de chêne, fruits rouges. Une bonne vieille brune!

Cask No head, even not a B.C."H."; chestnut-coloured, fully hazy beer. Wood, esters, forgotten cherries on wood, lactic acid, aromatic as few - wow! Dry, very cherry-like woody flavour. Finish is pure lactic acid and some tannines. Ultra-dry aftertaste, medium bodied despite the obviously high attenuation. Exists saturated on keg, but the foeder/cask version is preferable.

Countbeer (4042) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2012
Bottle: 2012 edition: Small gusher, a quick reaction caused more beer to be poured in the glass than on the kitchen floor. A small and quickly disappearing creamy head with a light orange tint on top of a mirky amber prange colored beer. Smell is comparable with Lambic: wild yeast, fermented sugars, hints of red and darker fuits like raspberry and raisin, rubber, older (dried) hops, hint of plastic, slight hint of nettle and something light malty. Taste sour, wild yeast, rsspberry, hint of honey, brown sugars, light caramel, yoghurt sour, cellar, light dry, light dust, tart, hint of toffee, hints of citrus, grapefruit, lemon and cabbage/vegetables. Aftertaste of dried hops, wild yeast, yoghurt sour, stingy sour (but not irritating at all), hint of sour cellared grains. Low to medium carbo, light watery, lively light s Guess if Russian River brewed this beer, it would have been hyped for sure! This is pretty good!

Tons of green apples and oak in the nose. the mouth is super sour, with oak and green apple and oak. Soooo fucking sour, but well balanced and enjoyable. I love this. You will too, if you love sours.

Pours light brown into a snifte. White head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Sour cherry and raspberry aromas. Tart with dark sour cherry front to back. This is quite nice.
