tfredvik (1253) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2015
Red to brown body that is clear (first glass) or cloudy (second glass). Tiny, frothy, off-white head that disappears almost completely in a very short time. Sweet and sour and rather strong aroma of tart red berries and caramel. Moderate flavour of tart red berries and lemon, with caramel in the back. Light sweet taste and a moderate acidity. Quite long finish. Crisp mouthfeel, light body, dry and with a moderate carbonation.

12.7 oz bottle. Pours reddish-brown with tall, long-lasting, foamy off-white head and nice lacing. Nose is of caramel malt, vinegar, cherries. Body is medium and very tangy. Taste is very sour, funky, tart, fruity. Finish is long and sour. Good but too acidic for me.

Tap@Moeder Lambic.
