Bottiglia.

Fin bords IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear light golden body with a medium creamy white head. Nose is mild citrus, grass, herbs and hints of pale malts, straw and red fruits. Taste is fruity Belgian ester notes, grass, herbs and hints of straw, white sugar, pale malts and red fruits. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. This "IPA-fied" Belgian blonde ale isn’t really neither of styles, serving as a perfect example of missing the mark when trying to cross styles. Not bad, but not really good either.

(Verzet Rebel Local) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip glass, ABV 8.5% Golden bright colour on the body, quite hazy, with a tall white head on top, thick and with very good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma has some barnyard, old lemons, light malts, smells fresher after a swirl of the glass. Nice taste though, not very bitter but enjoyable and the bitterness is present on the aftertaste after all. Nice fruity touches, maybe a bit of bubblegum, light citrus, pears, peaches. Medium thin body, good carbonation, moderate dry on the palate. Quite good.

Bottle. Calm pouring with big yeastburger at the end. Some IPA character but not an instant hit. Pleasant hops on the tongue but the beer below is nothing new. I may be a bit pissed though. 6th bottle of the evening and my objectivity may not be as it should.

slightly hazy gold-blonde. Flowery, light-fruity, sweet-bitter hoppy aroma.

Ottima bevuta.

330ml bottle from Chez Marie, Ieper. Pours a hazy blonde with a mound of foamy white head in the middle of the glass. Soft tropical fruit aroma. Taste is mellow herb and orange citrus. Pleasant IPA.

33 cl bottle at home in a tulip. Dark golden colour, white head. Aroma is subtle, floral and grassy with herb. Sweet taste with a bitterness coming through, again herbal. Dry finish with low carbonation. Overall, not bad. I suspect this is a beer that will evolve in time to become something bolder, but so far so OK.
