Unclear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Yeast, citric, mild banana and fruity aroma. Fine body with an ok carbonation. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Beligian style acidic. Yeast, mild banana, citric, fruity and malty. A nice tasty beer. More over to the Belgian ale side than the ipa side.

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is citrusy and lightly malty, with grass, pine cones and a herbal touch. Nice bitterness, with resiny, piney hops and a malty backdrop. Full body, pleasant carbonation, quite dry. Lasting bitter finish. Ok, so it’s a bitter, hop-forward beer, so is an IPA, but it’s not an IPA. 150328

Draught@BBF14 and 33cl bottle bb2016. Yeast-troubled milky yellow pour. orange candy is interfered with from the start by heavy, sugar-boosted yeast esters, making its provenance clear from the start. More subdued high-octane yeast working with in se pleasant IPA bitters, angostura, agrumosities, late (lemon) grasses and citric powder. Yeasty dry mouthfeel. A duller rebellious young cousin to radiant Chouffe Houblon.

Bottiglia.

Fin bords IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear light golden body with a medium creamy white head. Nose is mild citrus, grass, herbs and hints of pale malts, straw and red fruits. Taste is fruity Belgian ester notes, grass, herbs and hints of straw, white sugar, pale malts and red fruits. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. This "IPA-fied" Belgian blonde ale isn’t really neither of styles, serving as a perfect example of missing the mark when trying to cross styles. Not bad, but not really good either.
