33cl Bottle @home. Amber coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a large white head. Refreshing hoppy bitter hinted aroma with some light fruity notes. Full light creamy palate. FInish is dry bitter hoppy with some nice fruity hintes and a longer bitter dry ending. Decent IPA

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Tuulensuu, 20120811) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, honey, sweetness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. Not an IPA and neither a tripel but some combination of the two.

Bottle from Malting Pot, Brussels
Cloudy amber color, with small creamy head. Unexciting aroma, with some spices, grass and vegetables. Strongly carbonated, with some spicy malt flavor, and a sharper presence of vegetables and cabbage; strong final bitterness.
Probably gone bad.

Pours a hazy orange colour with a white head. Aroma of strong apricot and some floral notes. Flavour of caramel, floral hops, yeast and malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a burning alcohol finish with sweet fruits and bitterness. More of a tripel and a hoppy one.

Candlelit, flat-bottomed 750ml bottle at The Penguin listening to Elliot Smith. Medium-misted, dull gold with a considerable, slimming white cap. Vanilla and pear first things to hit me on the snout with muffled, really juicy Belgian hop (wine gum, crystallised lemon) becoming outspoken. Just one of those mellow, quietly humming, thick-conditioned Belgians alluding at lemon and orange flavoured Turkish delight dusted with icing sugar, and pineapple- you know the ones. Wanted a notch more hop but life isn’t perfect.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2012 33cl bottle. Hazy and orange with medium white head. Nose : overall the aromas aren’t strong. I sense some background citrus notes and other esters. Soapy with tart notes. Sip ; medium body with oily and creamy texture. Very little sweet and dry start. Earthy with lemon flavor. Soapy feeling. It’s somewhere in-between a belgian wit, tripel and IPA. It’s not overwhelmingly hopped as a usual IPA though. It’s easy to drink and hides very well the alcohol. OK.

Bottle, from Geers. Pours dark yellow/orange. Tangy nose, sweet alcohol, very little hop aroma, strong MF, then a bit phenolic. A bit harsh overall. Note to rerate later.
