Dark orange with a clear white head
Muted simcoe and chinook. Grapefruit and some nuttiness on the nose
Great bitterness. Malt and carbonation balance is great. Perhaps too astringent at the finish. I get a lot of grapefruit but its hacker by pine cones

Pours light yellow, foam is little. Aroma is lightly hopped, yeasty and little citrusy. Taste is fruity hopped, grassy, fresh and little twiggy. Palate is medium and well carbonated. All in all, this is easy to drink, but one sided IPA.

On draught at Strecker’s. Pours a dense dark gold color with a fine bubble head. Hoppy aroma, medium body, hop-over-malt flavor balance. Nice hop flavor crispness. Overall, a nice IPA.

Orange in color with a white head. Very sweet and malty with an almost candied orange aroma. Sweet citrus with a bit of toast and some floral hop aromas. The flavor is a bit on the bland side with most of the substance being sweet malt. Light citrus and floral hop notes, candied orange, and some mild toast. Not very good.

On tap @ the brewpub. This is a hazy orangish beer with a medium sized just off-white head that’s lacing down the sides of the glass. The aroma reminds me more of a thin hefeweiz than a IPA. Some wort-like tones mixed with flowers, yeast, banana?. Does most definitely not taste like a IPA this. Thin and weak oily mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. It has bitterness, but not hoppy bitterness. Thin and weak grassy and also some orange zest flavors. Why call this a IPA? It’s clearly not.. 06.01.2012

Hazy golden colour with tiny white head.
Yeast, soap and homebrew in aroma.
Yeast and mild bitterness in musty homebrewy flavour.
Quite horrible for an IPA.
