Dark golden with a minimal white head. Aroma is strong of brewmash with some sticky caramel sweetness and weak hobs. Flavor is metallic and sweet again with some weak hobs, gives you a bad aftertaste, me no like

[Sampled in 2004.] A lowbudget beer for bad hangovers, but also the one you can find along danish moterways in the southern part of Jutland after being bought in Germany and swallowed in the car. Bad and sad that they don’t have to pay for the bottle.

33 cL bottle (as Krudtugle Classic). Pours golden deep orange with white head. Sweet and slight citrus fruity aroma. Very subdued grapefruit flavour on top of a vaguely sweet flavour. Dry finish but only with a minor bitterness. Mellow throughout. Not what I would expect from a classic, but certainly nice and different.

Grovlam (4157) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2007
Bottle. Average off-white rocky head that mostly diminished. Clear sparkling body with a golden color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of grass, grain, hay and caramel. Light bodied with a thin and light dry texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a hint of bitter hops. Light dry and sweet finish.

Bottle at home. Deep golden with a white head, ok lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, corn) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light body. A disappointing classic from this brewery.

Maria (10187) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2007
Golden, moderate head. The aroma is weak with notes of worn out malt and a bit of hops. The flavour hasn’t much to offer, it’s watery with hints of worn out malt and a artificial bitterness. Drinkable, but not recommendable...

thewolf (11314) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 15, 2007
Bottle. Slightly cobber golden and a little film head. Aroma is malty with a hint of citric bitterness. Taste is sweet with only a slight hint of caramel, ending on a citric edge. Mouthfeel is quite okay.
