2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
33 cL bottle (as Krudtugle Classic). Pours golden deep orange with white head. Sweet and slight citrus fruity aroma. Very subdued grapefruit flavour on top of a vaguely sweet flavour. Dry finish but only with a minor bitterness. Mellow throughout. Not what I would expect from a classic, but certainly nice and different.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
A light amber beer with an OK beige head. The aroma is sour and hoppy - must be the use of brewing cereal - I think this is what is called skunky. The flavor is slightly sweet to start off, then brewing cereal sour - a little like vitamin c, combined with notes of metal. And the body is thin.

A golden beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of caramel. The flavor is dry hoppy with notes of caramel.
Earlier Rating: 2/23/2003 Total Score: 2.6
An orange beer with no head. The aroma is perfumated and sweet. The flavor is very malty and brewmashy with a bit sourness from the corn it is brewed on. Slightly watery - but a very average pilsner.

(Bottle 33 cl) As "Vestfyen Krudtugle Classic". Fully golden (colourings), no real head to mention. Some sweet and sour notes from the added corn. Lightly watery body, with a rather pronounced hoppy finish. Drinkable and nothing more. 290799

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottled (from beerangel.de). Nice coppery golden colour with small off-white head. Aroma is rubber, metal, hairapray and mild notes of caramel. Flavour is caramel malts, quite parfumeish and artificial sweetness which all finishes in a very rubbery thing. Sometimes I wonder if there’s any point in rating every beer you find in your path forwards...

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, as Pokal Classic. Looking quite nice this one, with its crystal clear golden body and finger-thick off-white head. Grainy and lightly fruity aroma that isn’t much interesting. The flavor is equally interesting, boring that is. Pale malts, fruityness and a faint bitterness. Medium to thin body, decent carbonation. Well, even though it’s dirt cheap, it’s certainly nothing to repeat. 120330

Golden with a weak malty metallic (acidic/sour) and slight hoppy taste & finish! Watery and basically very much a discount pilsner in its truest sence!

golden with little white head. Aroma of malts and hops. medium carbonation. watery texture. Weak sour hoppy finish. Thumbs down!

Bottle at "Empty the attic day" It did good at the moment, but not a very good beer.
Golden - white head. LIght malty, some caramel, light hopped. Just a cheap beer.
