2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Refreshing, with lots of taste from this small brewery which is mainly producing for the discount market, as far as I know. Fruity, and similarly plenty of hops. This is very similar to a good Czeck pils. If you have discount beer like this, you have no reason to complain!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
An unremarkable ’Classic’ (=slightly darker) pilsener, but not Classic enough to be brewed without corn! Still, the flavour is not unpleasant - just uninteresting.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2013 Bottle from eBay Germany!
Pours strong golden yellow, crystal clear, with small soapy head. Smells malty-grainy, slight sweet and bitter hoppy. Starts with a low malt base, slight grainy-sweet with very flat hop flavor. The middle part is also lax malty and grainy, watery, with some bitterish hops. Goes into a grainy-sweet finish with some bitter hop notes.

33cl can at MS Billefjord between Longyearbyen and Pyramiden. Pours golden with a white head. Usual pale lager aroma, moderate grainy with some slightly fruity and herbal notes and hints of cooked vegetables. Plain pale lager, but somewhat decent bitterness it seem. Not the worst one, quite drinkable actually, but the views might have an impact on the grade.

33 cL bottle (as Krudtugle Classic). Pours golden deep orange with white head. Sweet and slight citrus fruity aroma. Very subdued grapefruit flavour on top of a vaguely sweet flavour. Dry finish but only with a minor bitterness. Mellow throughout. Not what I would expect from a classic, but certainly nice and different.

10.09.2011. 0,33l Bottle. Golden yellow colour with white head. Very light, thin and pale colour for a vienna. This tastes likeapale lager. Aroma is weak malty. Refreshing hoppy bitterness gives the beer a quite good fruity bitter aroma. Short aftertaste.
