Borup (988), Albertslund, Denmark Oct 3, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and a lot of alcohol. Standard Danish discount strong beer. Pinball (583), Allerød, Denmark Sep 30, 2008 aroma : eggy, sweet notes (corn?), also a slight sour thing in there. can also smell a little alc.
clear yellow, large thick head, which soon becomes a small ordinary head.
flavor is rather nice, but a lot of alc in this pilsener type. Alc is not used well, it’s too dominant. imagine taking a relatvely okay pilsener and add 2cl vodka and you’ve got it. I’m danish, and i’m not proud of this.. apart from the alc, the flavor is good. sweet/sour balanced, with what might be green grapes, and slight bitterness to end it off. Skinnyviking (2720), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 17, 2008 Bottle. No head. Clear yellow body. Very weak and very sweet barley malt aroma dominated by corn as far as I can judge. Heavily carbonated but also no flavor apart from the sweetness, no hops bitterness, long and too sweet aftertaste. plovmand (672), Helsinge, Denmark Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear yellow with medium head. Aroma of malt and sweets. Flavour is sweet and malty and the alcolhol is dominating. Thin mouthfeel. Bragesnak (1330), Aarhus, Denmark Apr 27, 2008 From Aldi, Aarhus, DK
