COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. It’s an unclear, yellow-orange beer wtih a dense, white finger-thick head. The aroma is very smoked, with ham and some malty sweetness. A touch of fruityness too. Pale malts, smoke and a good dash of fruityness in the flavor. Medium body, a bit dead on the palate. Dry. Smoke and pale malts in the finish. Well, combining smoked and lots of hops might work out just fine, but this isn’t so very successful. Far from bad though. 110528

Sampled from keg @CBF ’11. A dense white head, over a hazy pale golden body. Clean, prominent smoke aroma with hints of medicine and band aid. Light bodied and clean on the palate. Light acidic, smokey malt flavor. Tones of citrus fruits. Fine bitterness in the backbone. Rounded smoky ending. An interesting, unusual and tasty Smoked.

Draught, KØ11. Cloudy dark yellow colour. Very big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is mildly smoky, has a bit of fruit. A bit grainy in the finish. Like a standard Danish lager with smoke, but not bad.
