Feb 2, 2008 Dark brown with a red hue and a huge, nice head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt. The flavour is sweet with notes of sweet rye bread and the finish has a very light citrus. It could have had more body, but otherwise it’s OK.

Dec 22, 2007 Very dark brown, decent light brown head. Aroma is brown sugar, caramel and molasses, with a little touch of grainy malt and hay too. Flavour is sweet with notes of raw grain and brown sugar. Definitely one of the better hvidtøl.
