1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
To light, to strong and to sweet. This is NOT schwarzbier, but instead something else ’no-matter-beer’ that is not worth writing about. Behind the sweetness there is a little English licorice, and that is exactly the liquorice which helps that I do not dump it altogether.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This Danish Schwarz Bier from Vestfyen is ok but, more a light stout than it is a Schwarz Bier in both scent and taste.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Dark amber to copper body with a small, beige head. Roasted aroma with hints of chocolate and a faint coffee touch. Roasted and slightly coffee-bitter flavor too, also with hints of coffee. Rather similar to the flavor, but slightly more interesting. Medium body, decent bitterness in the end. A nice beer considering it’s not in the Willemoes series from Vestfyen, else it’s pretty mediocre, but on height with the more commercial German schwarzbiers. 100917

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark brown clear body and a small light brown diminishing head. First and foremost a heavy aroma of brown sugar, and then some roasted malt and yogurt ! Heavy sweet taste and a light bitter burnt/roasted finish. Creamy and sticky texture.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12-AUG-2010, bottle @home.
Totally opaque with nice light brown head.
Slightly roasted but weak nose.
Taste is better with roasted coffee and liqorice.
Very fine but simple beer that goes down very easy. Actually a pitty with the high (6.5%) ABV, since I just want to gulp it in large amounts:)
