2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 Can. 4.4%. Best before 18.12.13. Pours a clear dark brown with a tan head. Slightly tart, sweetish roasted aroma, dusty and with a light smoked note and a remote liquorice note. A bit cloying. Flavour is much the same, but more tart and has a distinct cardboard note which kinda messes it up. A bit of wood and a spicy note as it warms. Sweetish finish, a bit roasted, with a lingering dryish light smoked and dusty note as well as grass. Overall so-so; the cardboard note is a definite drawback, but even without it, it would still not more than just an average beer. 29.10.13.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear, very dark copper body with a medium brown head of some longevity but with rather poor lacing capabilities. Quite strong roasted aroma with dark chocolate and coffee, also cola and some strange notes of bakers yeast. Moderate sweet taste with hints of burnt malty bitterness in the finish. The flavours are heavily roasted, almost burnt, with coffee and faint chocolate. Light body, smooth texture and soft carbonation. A nice one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0,5 l can from Superbrugsen Havnebyen, Sjællands Odde.
A low short-lived tan head, upon a ruby-shaded dark brown body.
Moderate aroma of milk-chokolade, creamed caramel and raisins.
Soft and creamy in the mouth. Healthy body. Taste is gently sweet with lots of chocolate/cocoa flavor. Mild roast and mild bitterness in the finish. Quite a good one, and the best in the Støckel-series. [Sjællands Odde,15.07.13]

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Canned@CPH BF 2013. More or less pitch black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is ripe fruits, ashes, roasted notes along with mild liquorice. Flavour is mild liquorice, ashes, roasted malts and some toffee as well as ripe fruits. Yet quite thin and all too soft for being a proper stout.
